Positive Parenting is dedicated to providing resources and information to help make parenting more rewarding and effective!
LNF recently was awarded funding to provide parenting workshops under the direction of Sandra Phaire. Sandra has provided these workshops in the U. S. Virgin Islands for many years and LNF is proud to help her continue this important work.
This program is called: A Call to Action and strives to gives fathers a clear plan with direction on how to deal with parenting issues. This is a new exciting program.
First and foremost these families need to fully understand the attitude and culture of parenting and sharing in the parenting role. Fathers must be brought back into the picture and we must educate and inform on the roles and responsibilities of both parents for the child.
This program provides the following:
- Telephone card distribution
- Parenting workshops on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John
- In home parenting to non-custodial fathers in their homes.
